The State Alumni Team is pleased to launch the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF). AEIF offers alumni the opportunity to address global issues on a local, national, regional or international level. Proposals in the following categories or combinations thereof will be considered:
- Democracy and human rights;
- Economic opportunity and prosperity;
- Food security;
- Promoting a cleaner environment;
- Women's empowerment;
- Global health; and
- Outreach to marginalized communities.
We encourage all site members to work collaboratively through State Alumni to recruit team members, mentor one another, or comment on posted project ideas. As part of the global community of alumni, you can offer advice and share information with one another to improve the project ideas.
Project ideas will be accepted from Wednesday, February 16 - Sunday, March 13, 2011.
The Office of Alumni Affairs thanks you for your patience as we worked to enhance the AEIF competition. For full details about AEIF, including eligibility information, please visit https://alumni.state.gov/AEIF today!
